Friends, family & all -

The weather in Phoenix has been beautiful, uinfortunately Jack has been sick since the day
we left to come to Phoenix.  I had a nice visit with Ron and Tana Smith whom we stayed with. Ron was a co-worker at Key Bank with Sue and I. We've stayed indoors pretty much, pumping Jack with meds.

Ron and Tana Smith with Jack (really, he was sick!)

On Saturday, we had dinner with Paul Justice, Kevin Harington (both former Key Bank employees) and their wives Ruthie, and Karen. It was great seeing them and telling old stories. Jack and I will be back in Cleveland tomorrow.

Friends, family & all -

It's been 8 days since we lost Sue, it seems like a month! This week has been a blur. I want to thank EVERYONE for their support, love, and strength during these difficult times. I have a big job ahead of me and it will be difficult without Sue. She was my rock and foundation. I've spent the week in Toledo with family and they have helped me tremendously beginning our (Jack and me) recovery process.

I will be back in Cleveland later tonight. This will be difficult with all the memorabilia of Sue throughout the house. I've got Jack calling me Daddy-Mommy. He's been told that Mommy has died and is in heaven but does not fully grasp the concept.

We will make it! Again, thanks for your support.

Love - Greg & Jack.

Friends, family & all -

It's been a month since we lost Sue! Hard to believe!

I ask any of you who read this to stop and take time for that special someone in your life - give them a hug, a kiss, and tell them that you love them! Make it a habit. The day will come where you regret that you didn't.

It's tough without Sue. There's so much that I miss about her - smile, laugh, sense of humor.

Life has gone on though. Still spending every weekend in Toledo. Planning family trips with the Trendels has helped taken my mind off the lonlyness back home in Cleveland. I'm proud to be part of the Trendel family!

I can hardly believe it's almost 2007. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Love - Greg & Jack.

Friends, family & all -

Today is my Dad's birthday - he would have been 89. Happy Birthday Dad!

Well today is two months and it's getting a little better, not crying as much or often. However, have so many mementos around the house that remind me of Sue that make the evenings lonely and tough. I will survive! Plus Jack is counting on me.

I'm going down to St. Thomas with 9 others from Sue's family March 3 -10. Sue and I honeymooned there. Besides the sun and snorkeling scheduled, the main reason is to spread some of Sue's ashes. She loved the beach and water.

We also have the yearly family (Sue's side) vacation in July at OBX   NC. Plan on spreading more of Sue's ashes there too!

Love - Greg & Jack.

The Trendel, Szklarz, McCormick, and Krouse families

Friends, family & all -

Our St. Thomas trip was a rousing success. Everyone enjoyed themselves in Paradise. Other than the bug bites we had to put up with, we had plenty of fun, sun, and RUM.

We snorkled just about everyday, and sat around pool side. We also took a trip on the Atlantis submarine and went down to 95 feet deep. Saw sea turtles, barracudas, and shark.

As with any vacation, the time went too quickly and we are now all back to our
daily grind.  Our last full day on St. Thomas we put Sue's ashes out to sea.

  Love - Greg & Jack.
